The Science Museum is currently closed because of the RNC.  It will be open on the 12th, but I'm unsure if there will be what the main attraction, exhibit-wise will be when we're wanting to go.  Though, there will be a new movie about the Great Lakes.  And then starting on the 15th of October there will be a big exhibit called, "CSI: the Experience."

Do folks want to go ahead and go as we've talked about or do we want to wait?  There is also the Bakken Museum, near Lake Calhoun, that is devoted to electricity....there is also just going for a hike....what do folks want to do?

Here's some links:

(The Bakken is hosting a renewable energy expo this coming Tuesday from 5-8pm)

I got the impression it was....but I'd have to check the website to be sure.  I feel like they were calling it an "open house."

Regarding the Science Museum...
I would prefer to wait until the CSI exhibit opens.  I personally think that stuff is very interesting, and I suspect other Sci Clubers would want to see it as well.  If it's as popular as Body Worlds, I suggest we go on a Friday to have less crowds.

As for a hike...
I'm up for that at any time!  Anyone got a mountain?
